The Honda Goldwing GL1500 is a well-established legend. And with good reason: you will enjoy supreme comfort, wonderful weather protection, minimal vibration and engine heat. And of course: there is music on board, and cruise control.
The Goldwing is a large bike. But its size disappears when you start moving. The Goldwing might look heavy, but the high-tech chassis allows for less weight than appearance might suggest. Indeed, the Goldwing might look large and bulky, but you will be amazed how well it handles on the winging roads of the Alps. Enjoy the smoothness, comfort, and handling of these great bikes.
May be you are considering buying a bike and you’re not sure a Goldwing is for you? Do not believe in the jokes about the Goldwing being an old man’s bike. Hire one and go on a trip, then decide for yourself! You will not be disappointed: a trip will convince you of the comfort and smooth handing of the Goldwing. The Goldwing has five speeds, and an electronic reverse gear to aid you with backing up. The seat is low enough so that you can plant two flat feet on the ground. Low speeds are easy to handle due to the well balanced design of the bike.
Our bikes were built between 1988 and 2000. They all have Tulsa Style windshields to ensure optimal protection against wind and rain for both driver and passenger. They come equipped with an additional rack on the topcases, to transport additional light luggage.
Two of the bikes have Corbin seats, which are particularly recommended for longer drives. The great backrest provides excellent support for both the driver and the passenger. Also, two of the Goldwings have trailer hitches. Should you embark on a longer trip, you might consider renting a trailer, see our optional equipment.
